Lab experiment on Digital Twin using Automation studio and SMC Pneumatic kit
Prof Vikram Vyawahare has developed a lab experiment to demonstrate the digital twin concept using Famic Automation studio software and SMC electro pneumatic kit hardware. Sensor data is read using I/O Box and sensor value is communicated to the simulation. Google form is used for formative assessment and submission of student work. Digital twin is one of the upcoming technologies important for Industry 4.0.

Students have to develop the excel sheet formulas and graph plot giving them ability of data manipulation and visualization for a technical application.
