Overview

The Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) program at Terna Engineering College, Navi Mumbai, is strategically designed for highly creative and motivated students who aspire to be pioneers in the Design industry. Our program commenced in 2022 with a carefully selected intake of 30 students and continues to witness a surge in applications.

The program is geared towards practical and applied research which accelerates design related knowledge, with approaches to defining and solving problems resulting in high-quality outcomes. The program is four-years long which offers building the foundation of design in year one and developing expertise in your chosen field in years 2 to 4. Considering we build a thorough foundation in design in year one, our program is also open to students from arts and commerce backgrounds. We can facilitate their admission process given they appear for the CET exams with promising results that meet our requirements.

We also ensure that all our students, including the ones from arts and commerce backgrounds, are given unconditional support throughout the program and are determined to assist them to our maximum ability. We foster creativity and explorative experiences for students in order to enable businesses and industries to overcome traditional and old-fashioned ideas. Design has a multi-faceted application in the development of cities, buildings, transport, bridges and landscapes to name a few. Designers are innovators who enhance the way we live and interact with the world around us.

Our department welcomes you to the world of learning design in an enriching environment!
