A parallel aim of the lab is to develop skills and methodologies to produce defect free software or suggest ways to improve and ascertain the quality of existing software products. The motivation is to strive for continuous improvement of existing processes and procedures to guarantee better quality and cost-effective software products. The idea is to optimize the available resources in such a manner that they are effectively utilized, so that the most vulnerable parts of the software are given proper attention.
