Overview

Electronics Engineering Department, since its inception in 1991, has achieved great recognition in the field of technical education. The department offers B.E. in Electronics Engineering, a four-year degree program with an intake of 60 students. The department also runs a research program (Ph.D. Electronics) with an intake of 10 research scholars. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accredited the department till 2028. It comprises highly qualified and professionally skilled faculty members with good record of the published work. The faculty members organize training programs in the various areas of engineering such as embedded systems, VLSI and networking.

The department keeps up to date with the continuous changes in the field of technology and encourages the students to keep track of the constantly changing world. The faculty members and students are involved in organizations like the IEEE, IETE. Projects done by department students are appreciated at various national level competitions and exhibitions like Robocon. Experts from the industry are frequently invited to conduct seminars on topics on various subjects. Yes, students are supported with internships and industrial visits to bridge classroom knowledge with real-world experience through the college’s Training & Placement Cell.

The Training & Placement Cell provides placement support, industry interactions, resume workshops, and connects students with recruiters across sectors such as IT, telecom, analytics, and electronics hardware.

Eligibility generally includes passing 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science and qualifying marks in MHT-CET and/or JEE Main followed by counseling.

Yes — diploma holders may be eligible for direct second-year admission (lateral entry) into the BE Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering program subject to eligibility and CAP counseling norms.
