Terna engineering college is the first college having “Mechatronics” branch in Maharashtra. MARSA being the first committee for mechatronics students.

In year 2014-15, Mechatronics branch was introduced by Terna engineering college. As it is new branch and has a great scope, students need to know about it. For the welfare of students and their benefits MARSA was introduced. The motto behind MARSA is to arrange workshops, events and different activities specially for mechatronics students to help them for their academic as well as other activities.

The inauguration took place in Bose Lab, on 12th September 2018, Wednesday, the event started at 3.00 pm and continued till 5.30 pm. The inauguration was done by Prof. Vikram Vyawahare, H.O.D. of Mechatronics Department and all Faculty members. Professors were felicitated with Tulsi plant by Committee Members. After felicitation Prof. Vikram Vyawahare shared the idea behind MARSA and guided the students. Inspirational quote was given by Prof. Rutooja Gholap,“we are cheaters but we don’t cheat humanity, we hate studies but we love technology, we don’t have books in hand but have revolutionary ideas in mind, world can’t change us but we can change the world, we are engineers.” A small introduction of M.Visvesvaraya, whose birthday is celebrated as Engineer’s Day, was given by Dr.S.V.G Ravindranath. Respect Faculty members also shared their thoughts on the occasion of Engineer’s Day and helped students with their guidance. The MARSA committee was welcomed with Good wishes and enthusiasm. After the introduction of committee the inauguration was celebrated by cake cutting.
