I proudly welcome you to the Department of Design at Terna Engineering College, Navi Mumbai. As The Head of the Design Department, I take a privilege to invite you to the world of creativity in Design, where we provide technologically advanced resources for a fulfilling learning experience. We have established ourselves as one of the few, most recognised departments in the state of Maharashtra through our state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. Unlike other universities, our course is a four-year intensive program which focuses on varied designs including industrial design.

The courses offered by the Design Department will equip the designers with holistic knowledge and equated perspective of designing. The ultimate aim of the courses is to catalyse responsible designers who will serve the country and society through innovation, expertise and research. Apart from the academic curriculum, we offer various other activities to encourage students to showcase their talent and creativity through diversified art and illustrations.

It is with immense pleasure and pride that I undertake to lead a team of intellectuals who are constantly striving to strengthen the department of design every year. Our carefully selected faculty are geared to impart their qualitative knowledge and prior experiences to facilitate engaging learning experience. They are constantly trying to transfer their skills and resources to their pupils in order to ensure they are confident to take on challenges and succeed to their best potential.

The curriculum and syllabus is designed meticulously in order to provide pragmatic skills development to blossom as a successful designer along with building entrepreneurial skills, to succeed independently. We also facilitate internship opportunities to prepare them for real-world projects and contribute to first-hand experience in the design industry. Me and my faculty, collectively look forward to admitting a pristine batch of students every academic year. Along with providing academic excellence, our campus is surrounded with enchanting flora & fauna and is bustling with sports, cultural and co-curricular activities.
